Most people seem to be looking for downloadable sound clips when they land on this site. (myself included) I understand that you cannot usurp the rights of the content uploader, but why not make downloadable content more relevant by default, since this is likely what your users are looking for? For evidence, note the number of feedback questions requesting that you allow downloads.

Sound bites for use with HLSS, to use during online video games such as Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Day of Defeat, etc...

I'd like to be able to set a playlist of my favorite tracks, hit play, and have the whole thing play until the end.

As it is now, I need to click play on the next clip whenever one finishes.

Not being able to download any files from this site is as retarded as if Rapidshare suddenly deciding to only allow you to see files, but not actually download them.

The idea is to have something like ffwd.com where if you find a sound clip on a site, you can make note of it, listen to later, or even upload to entertonement

Ask a question on the home page, ex: "What's your favorite dinner drink" and let users answer the question using a song clip, sound bite, quote, etc...

This way it keeps on playing without refreshing the page. Making it into an endless loop.

there are so many clips I want to download to put on my phone that won't let you download or put on your phone. so they're just there to hear? great clips going to waste. I have to trick my computer by plugging into the speaker input and the mic input and then playing the file and recording it at the same time. seriously? how can you get in trouble for someone elses "clipping"?

I'm very happy that Entertonement can cut down on the long URL for its sound bites, but what about being able to delete them from the Chirps listing?

i am a new user and i am having trouble sending tones to my boost mobile phone.my friend also tried to send me soundbites from his phone and it didnt work. It came out sonding like it was a chewed tape and no real words or sounds coming out. what do i do?

Maybe some of the users simply didn't know they had to enable their clips so that others can downlad them.

The contributor's public profile would allow them to post info about their work, links to their work, and also provide a single public source for all the contributor's posted work.

In the same way that you can embed Entertonement clips onto other websites, is there any way that you could make a similar profile box linking to Entertonement, with a rotating clip showing in the box along with the site connection and profile link? In terms of the clips, I'm thinking along the lines of Facebook and how, when you link to a site, you can choose different thumbnails from that website. Any way for Entertonement to offer the same option?

Maybe I have missed it, but if it is not available yet, I would like to be able to add an entertonement widget or something to my site so that people can upload audio files from there to entertonement directly (like YouTube direct does for videos). And it would be a must if recording could be done live from the user's mic!

Why not remove the download button, rather than disabling it when a clip is not available for download? The current behavior seems to be causing a lot of user confusion.
